Position Summary

We're seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team and oversee residential and commercial carpentry projects. You'll be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence and sustainability, leading projects from frame to finish with precision and pride.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise carpentry teams on job sites.

  • Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and compliance with safety and building standards.

  • Collaborate with project managers to execute construction timelines effectively.

  • Perform framing, finish carpentry, and fixture installations.

  • Conduct inspections to ensure structural integrity and code compliance.

  • Mentor and train junior carpenters in industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience.

  • Strong knowledge of framing techniques and local building codes.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical plans.

  • Proven leadership skills with team management experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Valid driver's license and insurability under company policy.

  • Skilled in trailer hauling and operation of construction equipment (e.g., skid steer, bobcat).

  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
