Journeyman Electrician**

**Location:** Rapid City, SD

**Schedule:** MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 5:00PM Mon-Thrs

**Pay:** $25 to $35 per hour based on experience

**Position Summary**

We are seeking a qualified and motivated **Journeyman Electrician** to join our growing team in Rapid City, SD. This individual will lead and perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Candidates must possess a current Journeymans Electrical License, valid drivers license, and the ability to manage crews effectively on-site.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Install feeders, switchgear, and devices with correct wire/conduit sizing and terminations.

+ Perform underground layout and rough-ins.

+ Troubleshoot motors and control systems.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and site directions.

+ Operate tools and heavy equipment (e.g., lifts, trenchers, backhoes) safely.

+ Lead crews while maintaining project timelines and safety standards.

+ Maintain clean, efficient, and organized work sites.

**Qualifications**

+ Current Journeyman Electrician License (Required)

+ Valid drivers license (Required)

+ Minimum 3 years of electrical field experience

+ Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and in all weather conditions

+ Must provide personal tools and tool belt (~30 lbs)

+ Proficient with hand/power tools, conduit bending, and electrical testing equipment

+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills

+ Must be organized, punctual, self-motivated, and a team player

**Work Environment**

+ Repetitive physical activity (bending, climbing, kneeling, lifting)

+ Indoor and outdoor environments; may include extreme weather conditions

+ Use of ladders, lifts, and personal protective equipment (PPE)

+ 40+ hour work weeks with potential overtime and night shifts
