Experienced Painter - Great Lakes Navy Base

QUALIFICATIONS

-Minimum 2 years of experience in the painting industry
-Valid Driver's License and Social Security
-Reliable transportation to job site at Great Lakes Navy Base.
-Working knowledge of job safety as well as ability to complete a company safety orientation program.
-High standard of integrity and professionalism
-Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining a high level of detail and cleanliness
-Strong work ethic and follow-through on all job responsibilities.
-Ability to raise questions or concerns in a timely, proactive manner regarding the job/painting assignment.
-Ability to read and understand daily scheduling of houses
-Experience with equipment such as sprayers, rollers, brushes, etc.
-Experience with techniques such as patching, texturing, spraying, rolling, etc.

Daily Responsibilities

-Paint vacant apartments/condo/houses
-Ability to quickly identify problems in pre house inspection-
-Prep houses with tape, covering floors, counters/surfaces and hardware
-Repairs drywall, completes interior and exterior painting projects
-Repair drywall in vacant and occupied apartments
-Caulking cracks on windows, door frames, ceilings etc
-Finish all daily tasks assigned with thorough clean up
-Manage paint and tool supply inventory
-Assist with other types of maintenance as needed
