- Design projects for cities involving the provision of potable water, disposal of wastewater and sewage, or prevention of flood-related damage.
- Prepare environmental documentation for water resources.
- Ensure regulatory program compliance.
- Manage and analyze data.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and pipeline design.
- Design domestic or industrial water or wastewater treatment plants, including advanced facilities with sequencing batch reactors (SBR), membranes, lift stations, headworks, surge overflow basins, ultraviolet disinfection systems, aerobic digesters, sludge lagoons, or control buildings.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience in municipal water design or treatment.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling and pipeline design.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to present designs to mayors and the public.
- Experience in designing domestic or industrial water or wastewater treatment plants.
- Knowledge of advanced water treatment facilities and systems.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Proficiency in other water modeling software.
