Maintain production and quality by ensuring operationof machinery and mechanical equipment at the Plant and Port Warehouse.Position Responsibilities \*Ensures operation of machinery andmechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirementson engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and productionmachines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals,manufacturer\'s instructions, and engineering specifications;troubleshooting malfunctions. \*Locates sources of problems by observingmechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precisionmeasuring and testing instruments. \*Removes defective parts bydismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools;examining form and texture of parts. \*Determines changes in dimensionalrequirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers,micrometers, and other measuring instruments. \*Adjusts functional partsof devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumbbobs, and straightedges. \*Controls downtime by informing productionworkers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoringcompliance. \*Fabricates repair parts by using machine shopinstrumentation and equipment. \*Maintains equipment, parts, andsupplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level;anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing andexpediting orders; verifying receipt. \*Conserves maintenance resourcesby using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.\*Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions andrequests. \*Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting,analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. \*Maintains technicalknowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technicalpublications; establishing personal networks. \*Maintains continuityamong work teams by documenting and communicating actions,irregularities, and continuing needs. \*Maintains safe and clean workingenvironment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.\*Communicate effectively, both verbal and in writing with all levelsacross the organization will be required. \*Problem-solve andcontinually improve company products and services. Requirements: \*Highschool diploma or GED preferred \*1-2 years of experience repairingindustrial equipment. \*Attain forklift certification. \*Obtain HACCPcertification. Pay: \* Competitive pay, depending on experience. Shifts:Day - 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Swing - 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Grave - 11:00p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Rotation - Monday day shift, Tuesday & Wednesday swingshift, Thurs & Friday grave shift.
