Welder - 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welder to perform MIG and/or TIG welding operations on a variety of metal components. This role requires interpreting blueprints, setting up welding equipment, and ensuring high-quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. + Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG/TIG). + Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. + Inspect welds for accuracy and quality. + Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment. + Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Previous welding experience or technical training preferred. + Welding certification (AWS or equivalent preferred). **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a supportive work environment where safety and quality are prioritized. Work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with a focus on safety and quality. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Appleton, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
