Your Future Role We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping process, ensuring that goods are packed, labeled, and dispatched accurately and on time. You will (support) manage a team of shipping staff, coordinate with other departments, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in logistics or shipping management. As a Shipping Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring that products are delivered efficiently and in perfect condition. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring inventory levels, optimizing shipping procedures, and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process. Responsibilities: Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to Innomotics operational procedures. Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Coordinate with warehouse/shipping staff to ensure proper packing and labeling of goods. Utilize SAP for inventory management, tracking, and reporting. Develop and implement efficient shipping procedures and policies. Train and manage a team of shipping staff, ensuring high performance. Resolve shipping issues, such as delays or damaged goods, promptly. Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Collaborate with other departments to streamline the shipping process. Your Profile Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field. Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards. Customer service approach - responsive and thorough. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems. SAP experience - IM and WM modules. Computer skills a must - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Self-directed - ability to work independently. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Associates or Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of combined experience supervising in shipping, logistics, or a related field. Variety of supply chain management experience Experience working with cross-functions (e.g. project managers, service technicians) Customer service experience SAP experience - other SCM related modules (Purchasing, Accounting, Planning, etc.) The pay range for this position is $$71,300 - $122,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
