Location: Turlock, CA Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually Description: Job Title: Assistant Project Manager Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee the technical aspects of diverse projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Plan, schedule, and manage activities related to the construction, maintenance, and enhancement of operational facilities and equipment. Assign tasks , monitor performance, and optimize resource allocation for project personnel. Identify and secure necessary internal and external resources to facilitate project execution. Develop, review, and update project plans, schedules, and budgets to maintain optimal performance. Track and manage project expenses, making adjustments as needed to ensure cost control. Evaluate technical alternatives, recommend solutions, and collaborate with design professionals for detailed engineering plans. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address potential challenges. Collaborate with procurement teams to source essential materials, equipment, and services. Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications. Supervise construction activities, equipment installation, and commissioning, upholding rigorous quality standards. Monitor project progress , swiftly addressing issues and implementing process improvements for enhanced efficiency. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and change orders. Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and facilitate clear communication across cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and champion a safe working environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination, project management, or similar role. Familiarity with established project management methodologies. Experience with facilities management, maintenance operations, or construction projects is a plus. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team setting. Capable of working independently with limited guidance and managing multiple projects concurrently. Experience working with operational facilities and design. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, codes, and standards related to manufacturing, safety, and environmental compliance. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in PC skills, including standard office software and engineering/design applications. Operational Safety & Compliance: Participate in annual management reviews of operational quality systems. Adhere to all organizational, state, and federal regulations, including those pertaining to safety, quality, and environmental protection. Comply with good manufacturing practices within facilities. Assist in maintaining operational quality and safety systems.
