Unleash your potential with IPS and be part of something big.Expectations:Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Cleveland, Ohio service center. The successful candidate will have experience with motor and/or generator design and /or repair and may support other sites within the North Region as needed for more complex issues.Utilize engineering principles to elevate IPS's technical capabilities and positively impact the electric motor and generator repair industry.Key Initiatives:Interface with customers, troubleshoot equipment problems, perform testing and measurements in-shop and at customer locations, generate detailed engineering reports.Provide technical and risk management guidance to Sales, Quality Assurance, Operations and other functions.Engineering and Technology- apply Engineering, science, and technology to innovate for the industry. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design, production and repair of rotating electrical machines.Investigate equipment failures and perform RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis)Drafting, laying out, and specifying technical devices, parts, and equipment, providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to communicate how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.Support Field Service team with vibration measurement, machine alignment and other technical needsContinuous improvement of processes, procedures, documentation, tooling and equipment.Support Nuclear team with technical evaluations and commercial grade dedication planningEducate and train customers, vendors and IPS technicians on motor/generator operating theory and repair processesActively participate in Ultimate Customer Experience tiered meeting process.Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards including but not limited to API, IEEE, IEC, UL, NEMA, MSHA, CSA, and customers specificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical EngineeringPassion for critical thinking and creatively solving problemsStrong hands-on experience in fabrication, machining, manufacturing, machine repair or similarComputer Skills: CAD (SolidWorks) including finite element analysisPreferred requirements:Demonstrated success working with cross functional teams across multiple disciplinesKnowledge and skills in vibration analysis for rotating equipment, including casing vibration, shaft displacement, modal analysis, operating deflection shapes, rotor dynamics, resonance, etc.Experience with Quality Management Systems including document control, non-conformance control, Corrective Action Reporting, etc.You'll thrive at IPS if you...*Lead with integrity and prioritize safety.You demonstrate high standards and commit to a safe, ethical workplace.*Value teamwork and accountability.You work well with others, take responsibility, serve others, and deliver on your commitments.*Focus on the customer.You are dedicated to providing an unmatched customer experience and exceeding expectations.*Have an entrepreneurial spirit.You're proactive, innovative, and thrive in
