Carpenter Job Description We are seeking skilled carpenters to provide operational support in reconstruction efforts. This role involves tasks such as light framing, trim work, drywall hanging and finishing, hanging cabinets, and painting. Candidates must be willing to take instruction and feedback in real-time and follow directions closely. Responsibilities Perform light framing, trim work, and drywall hanging and finishing. Hang cabinets and conduct painting tasks. Provide operational support in reconstruction efforts for customers. Be on call once every 5 weeks to respond to emergency projects. Embrace a demanding schedule with flexibility for nights, weekends, and overtime work. Essential Skills Proficiency in carpentry, framing, and drywall hanging. Experience with finish carpentry, rough carpentry, and trim work. Ability to use hand and power tools effectively. Strong willingness to learn the restoration business. Additional Skills & Qualifications Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic. Ability to frequently lift over 50 lbs and sustain periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. Capable of accessing and maneuvering in tight spaces. Completion of OSHA Construction 10-hour course or ability to obtain one. Familiarity with chemical products and Material Safety Data Sheets. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Be flexible with hours in a 24/7 emergency service setting. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM, Uniforms are provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorestown, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
