Nuclear Project Manager
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Nuclear Project Manager for a 100% on-site opportunity in Virginia. The candidate will be overseeing the replacement of the existing Vertical Feedwater Heaters in both operating nuclear units at company site.
Required Qualifications of the Nuclear Project Manager:
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Nuclear Project Manager.
Must have prior hands-on experience as a PM handling a Heat Exchanger or Main Condenser.
Responsibilities of the Nuclear Project Manager:
Replacement of the existing Vertical Feedwater Heaters in both operating nuclear units. Each Unit has 8 Vertical Feedwater Heaters.
Planned approach entails full replacement of the Feedwater Heaters along with associated piping to eliminate Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC).
Role will manage the scope, schedule and budget associated with the material procurement and the engineering/construction contractor implementation.
Ensure all projects are executed with Safety and Environmental Compliance as the primary focus of all personnel supporting his/her projects.
Manages or supports specific phases of major projects including project development support, site development, permitting support (air, water, state, local, etc.), scope development, major contract negotiations (equipment, engineering, EPC, etc), engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, construction activities, commissioning and transition to operation.
Manages all phases of smaller improvement projects including permitting, contract negotiations, engineering contracts, construction contracts, construction activities and commissioning.
Develops and manages overall project budget and schedule for major and smaller projects.
Work Location: 100% on-site. Virginia.
