OverviewWe're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in our Atlanta office. Founded in 1964, BRPH is consistently ranked among the nation's top firms and has completed a wide range of projects across the United States and throughout the world.ResponsibilitiesAssists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.Assists in the development of probable construction cost estimates for projects within the department.Attends client meetings.Assists in the analysis of data received by others to plan and design projects.Prepares design computations and applies engineering fundamentals.Performs design of portions of non-routine projects or entire routine projects under direction of Project Engineer, or other responsible staff member.Understands and utilizes engineering technical terminology.Assists in the preparation of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and permits for projects.Perform site/field investigations to collect data for engineering assignments.May instruct and supervise daily tasks of draftspersons and Designer I and II.Provide advice, guidance and mentoring for drafting and engineering designer staff.Provide technical support to other staff in area of expertise.Performs advanced CADD drafting on a regular basis to produce designs into non-routine final drawings.Uses AutoCad in calculation of dimensions and distances.Be able to visualize from two dimension to three dimension.Ability to produce drawings in three dimension.Produces designs and drawings from vendor's and manufacturer's catalog and technical for job specific standards, practices and quality as defined in Systems Manual Volume II.Research discipline-related code issues and present discipline specifications for design projects.Perform checking of one's own work and work prepared by drafters and engineering designers.Provide coordination of all applicable project discipline's drawings and communications, cooperation and quality among staff.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university3-10 years of experience in Architecture and Engineering fieldMust be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and RevitUS CitizenshipPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
