Now Hiring: Certified MIG Welder - Northeast Houston

Pay: $18-$19/hr (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Full-time | Temp-to-Hire | Weekly Pay

Openwork is currently partnering with a leading manufacturing facility in Northeast Houston to find an experienced Certified MIG Welder. In this skilled role, you'll contribute to the fabrication of military-grade grating, supporting high-impact projects in a precision-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Operate machinery safely and efficiently.

Assist with related fabrication processes including use of plate rollers, tube benders, and overhead cranes.

Adhere strictly to all site safety and quality procedures.

Contribute to production goals through precision and productivity.

Qualifications:

Valid AWS D1.1 Certification (Required)

Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (more preferred)

Familiarity with ironwork, heavy fabrication tools, and crane operations

Strong attention to detail and ability to work from technical schematics
