Secure Components is seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser, dedicated to buying **Electronics** to source and procure board-level electronic components, including **semiconductors, microcircuits, resistors, capacitors, and connectors**. This role involves identifying and negotiating with suppliers, managing procurement processes, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the **electronics supply chain**, market trends, and sourcing strategies within the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors.

**Purpose:**

To effectively source, negotiate, and purchase electronic components and equipment to meet the organization's needs while ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Supplier Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and source from reliable electronic component suppliers.

- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and payment conditions with suppliers.

- Maintain and update supplier databases.

**Purchasing Process:**

- Process purchase orders, requisitions, and change orders accurately and efficiently.

- Track and expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

- Resolve purchase order discrepancies and issues.

**Cost Control:**

- Identify cost-saving opportunities through price negotiations, supplier consolidation, or alternative sourcing.

- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

**Compliance:**

- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to purchasing.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of purchasing activities.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Strong negotiation and communication skills

- Proficiency in using purchasing software and systems

- Knowledge of electronic components and industry standards

- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred
