Everyoneat JFT has the chance to forge their own career in an environment that valuesinitiative, persistence, respect, curiosity, and passion.JFT is looking for a Sr. Fabricator to join our team in Loveland CO and helpwith ASME NQA-1 and ISO 9001 welding and fabrication of custom equipment. Theanticipated closing date of this posting is 6/20/25 and applications willbe reviewed on a rolling basis.Responsibilities include:Weld per AWS using GMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes.Operate manual mills, lathes, rolls, forklifts and other shop equipment.Ensure jobs and tasks are completed on time and in compliance with companyprocedures.Assemble custom equipment to print.Test custom equipment to written plans.Maintain a safe and clean shop.Qualifications and Experience:10+ years of experience in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes.5+ years in a machine shop environment.Ability to read drawings and understand weld symbols.Knowledge of manual machining and experience with a variety of assemblytechniques.Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced problem-solving skills.Teamwork mentality with detail oriented with efficient work habits.This position requires the incumbent to work with export-controlled items.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Strength and Stamina: The job may involve lifting and moving parts ormaterials, typically up to 50lbs. The ability to stand for long periods(8+ hours) is required.Manual Dexterity: Precise hand movements are necessary for handling tools,operating equipment and operating a computer.Visual Acuity: Good eyesight, including close vision and depthperception, is important for detailed work and inspecting finished parts.Mobility: Frequent bending, stooping, and crouching is required, alongwith the ability to maneuver around machinery and equipment.Coordination: The role requires good hand-eye coordination to operateequipment safely and effectively.Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in writing andverbally with team members, customers and vendors.TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Machine and fabrication shop environment aroundequipment such as water jet tables, lathes, milling machines and pressbrakes. Welding operations are often taking place nearby. This job requiresadherence to strict safety protocols, including the use of personalprotective equipment (PPE).
