General Information/Job Summary Under appropriate supervision and designated direction, the Equipment Cost Analyst works closely with field teams and within the department to help generate accurate cost recovery for client billable goods and services. This position understands various types of construction equipment and tools and relates these items to Client Equipment Rate Sheets and Billing Codes within our software databases. This individual utilizes the Terms and Conditions of project contracts to optimize client invoicing and opportunities related to the use of company owned assets as well as 3rd Party rental equipment. Responsibilities Interact, communicate, and maintain a professional relationship with direct management and effectively communicate interdepartmentally with Project Management, Site Supervision, Vendors, and Clientele. Work closely with Account Receivables department on billing initiatives. Communicate with project site representative for asset usage verifications. Interact with the Supply Chain on 3rd Party Rental assets, freight and repair cost, and additional billable items. Promote quality, accuracy, and timeliness in the billing processes. Setup of Bill Codes in Spectrum ERP system. Identify commonly used equipment that should be listed on rate sheets. Audit equipment coding on rental charges. Verify company owned and rental assets utilization. Monitor jobsite work hours for additional billing opportunities. Audit rental equipment budgets to maintain project profitability. Maintain professionalism in areas of communications regarding assets received, missing, damaged, repaired and shipped. Other duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid Driver's License 5 or more years experience with construction tool and equipment inventory management, Purchasing/Supply Chain and General Accounting experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of Hand Tools, Power Tools, and Equipment relative to the Construction Industry Advanced knowledge and skills in MS office programs and Database management. Intermediate to advanced experience with Inventory Control Systems, Accounting Software Programs, and GPS Tracking. Time Management and the ability to multitask Team Communication Skills Safety Requirements Ability to pass drug test as mandated by the Saulsbury Industries. Must attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training education Attends safety meetings and specialty training as directed by management Maintain an acceptable driving record as identified by Saulsbury's Risk Management Group.
