Gecko Hospitality is now searching for an experienced and motivated Director of Construction based in Little Rock! The ideal Director of Construction should be a seasoned professional capable of managing construction projects, leading a team, and meeting growth plans while balancing budgets and quality expectations. Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee multiple construction projects to completion, including ordering equipment packages Financial Management: Manage project budgets, gather costs, and analyze final project performance Document Control: Manage electronic project documents, including contracts, invoices, and reports Contract Administration: Verify contract execution, vendor compliance, and distribute contracts Project Close-out: Compile turnover documents, prepare turnover packages, and perform punch list with contractors and teams Collaboration: Work with construction, facilities, design teams, builders, and vendors to build effective relationships Plan and monitor project progress throughout the development process and report directly to the Chief Operating Officer Compensation and Benefits Salary : up to $150,000 Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Strong Annual Bonus Potential 401k Qualifications 7+ years of construction experience in ground up & conversions, w/ minimum 5 years in the restaurant industry. College Degree in relevant field required, (Architecture, civil engineering, construction management), or commensurate experience Must have experience with ground up builds along with renovations Must have experience with concepts having a drive thru window. Planning, scoping, and execution of restaurant builds, remodels, and conversions Cross functional knowledge and management/leadership skills relative to due diligence and entitlement aspects of specific projects. Flexibility and priority planning to manage competing initiatives and requirements Working knowledge of negotiating techniques, methods and practices. The ability to direct, develop and ultimately achieve results through others Strong analytical / financial skills Outstanding oral, written, and verbal communication skills Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
