The Electrical Engineer III is responsible for performingelectrical power, lighting, and/or low voltage system engineering tasksfor electrical construction projects, under the direct supervision of anEngineering Team Leader as assigned by the Corporate EngineeringManager. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC andMicrosoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is required as well asknowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical or Architectural EngineeringExperience: 5 years of progressive electrical engineering relatedexperience or Education: Associate Degree in Electrical TechnologyExperience: 9 years of progressive electrical engineering relatedexperience Travel: 5-10% Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. However, work may be performedat any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES \* Performs detailed calculations to compute andestablish construction standards and specifications. \* Prepares andstudies technical drawings, and electrical specifications to ensure thatinstallations and designs conform to standards and customerrequirements. \* Plans layout of electrical construction projects. \*Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and other data to identifyand correct power system problems. \* Confers with internal and externalcustomers to discuss existing or potential construction projects. \*Provides guidance to ensure that construction activities comply withspecifications, codes, and customer requirements. \* Inspects completedinstallations to ensure conformance to design and equipmentspecifications. \* Compiles data and writes reports regarding existingand potential engineering studies and projects. \* Operatescomputer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment toperform engineering tasks. \* Provides electrical engineering forcomplex projects with minimal team leader oversight. \* Participates incustomer / project interviews. \* Proactively provides guidance toLevel\'s 1 and 2 Engineers and Designers as project-specific tasks areexecuted, or as other opportunities are identified. \* Provides trainingfor other technical personnel in areas of expertise.
