{test-id="job-detail-body"}The Fire Alarm Lead Technician is responsible for the onsite installation of fire life safety systems within commercial properties. You will lead a crew in the installation of devices, running wiring, and performing general construction needs to ensure the successful completion of client projects.Responsibilities include demo, construction rough-ins, wire pulling, project prep and clean up, troubleshooting, data management, project documentation, customer communications, and training of technicians.Essential Functions:- Is the primary contact for the customer while on site and communicates daily with the Foreman and/or Project Manager regarding job status.- Responsible for all project documentation and enters a daily summary into company CRM regarding the status of the project installation. Responsible for submitting all final project documents timely to complete the project close out process.- Leads the onsite crew to ensure the successful installation of project components. Is responsible for ensuring the proper procedures are adhered to when storing data files.- Interprets drawings and identifies best methods for project installation.- Responsible for ensuring all project materials and equipment are prepped and ready to be used during the project installation.- Adheres to all workplace safety expectations, regulations, standards and practices.- Adheres to all TRL Fleet policies and procedures; maintains both the appearance of their assigned vehicle and its inventory. Follows all inventory management procedures.- Provides system troubleshooting and makes timely corrective actions to keep project moving forward.- May be required to perform duties as listed/assigned to the Fire TI Foreman as needed and/or requested.Position Requirements:- 3+ years in construction and/or low voltage installation- 3+ years installing low voltage in a commercial environment- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.- Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).- Punctuality and regular attendancePhysical Demands and Work Environment:- Ability to drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day, daily.- Ability to drive, walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily.- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.- Work environment may be construction sites, commercial buildings, and multi-tenant properties.- Ascend/Descend and work at heights above 6ft and extreme heights, occasionally- Move/Transport/Install/Remove items weighing 50+ pounds, daily- Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities, daily- Position self to work in confined spaces, occasionally: {test-id="job-detail-footer"}At TRL Systems, we've been keeping people and their property safe for over 42 years.
