Top 3 Must-Haves SolidWorks Mastery You must be highly proficient in SolidWorks, with a strong portfolio of technical drawings and 3D models. Custom Fabrication Experience Hands-on experience in custom fabrication is essentialunderstanding how things are built is just as important as how they're designed. CAD/3D Modeling Expertise Proven ability to create precise technical drawings, renderings, and cut files using CAD and 3D modeling tools. What You'll Do Create, review, and distribute technical drawings and cut files for a variety of custom projects. Collaborate with the production team to ensure tasks are on schedule and aligned with timelines. Innovate and improve departmental processes, techniques, and engineering standards. Tackle unexpected challenges with creative problem-solving and technical expertise. What You Bring Essential Skills Expertise in SolidWorks is a must. Strong experience in CAD drafting, 3D modeling, and rendering. Ability to interpret sketches, renderings, and conceptual designs. Experience in custom fabrication, with an understanding of budget, fabrication, finishing, and installation constraints. Preferred Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Rhino is a plus. Knowledge of hardware used in home building, furniture, cabinetry, signage, and trade shows. Understanding of wood, metal, and plastic-based sheet goodstheir properties, applications, and availability. Awareness of CNC machining, finishing, and tooling capabilities.
