Pay: Entry Level: $26- $30/hour DOE Skilled: $30- $35/hour DOE Health/ Dental/ Vision insurance 401(k) & Roth retirement plans Flexible spending account (FSA) Health savings account (HSA) Paid sick time Per diem and hotel expenses for out-of-town work Prevailing wages, depending on projects assigned JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Carpenters are responsible for laying out and building concrete forms for commercial and/or residential footings, slabs, retaining walls, piers, etc. This is a full-time position. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 2 years of related carpentry experience Understand and follow company safety policies Able to travel and work out of town during the week (75%). Muse Concrete offers fuel reimbursement, lodging, and per-diem (meal allowance) while working out of town. Able to report to work on time and work all hours required of the job, including overtime. Driver's License preferred SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Possess the ability to follow instructions as directed by the Foreman/Superintendent. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools such as hammers, tape measure, pliers, shovels, picks, various types of saws, drills, roto-hammer, vibra-plate, etc. This is a Safety Sensitive Position. WORKING CONDITIONS: Primarily outdoor activity during all seasons. The work environment also includes frequent work around motor vehicles and moving equipment.
