Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance and repair work on heavy equipment in accordance with factory and industry standards, while achievingpany goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment to identify potential issues.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems and propose effective solutions.

Conduct repairs and overhaulponents as necessary to ensure equipment reliability.

Test machinery and equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair workpleted.

Adhere topany safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments to support project timelines.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or similar role, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry.

Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Goodmunication and interpersonal skills.

Certification from a vocational school orpletion of an apprenticeship program is an asset.

Must be able to successfullyplete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Own tools preferred.
