Requirements:

Duties:
- Make drawings, drafts, and designs using computer-assisted design systems (CAD)
- Draft plans and detailed drawings for equipment, structures, installations, and construction projects, such as roads, drainage and sewage disposal systems, land development, water and wastewater improvement systems using computer-assisted design systems (CAD)
- Coordinate architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical designs and make presentations to graphically represent building plans through computer-assisted design systems (CAD). Evaluate codes and regulations, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports from local, state, and federal governance to determine their effect on architectural designs.
- Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations, and structures using computer-assisted design systems (CAD)
- Supervise and train other technicians. Decide the order of work and presentation method, such as orthographic drawing using computer-assisted design systems (CAD)
- Adapt, modify, and duplicate drawings and documentation packages according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction using computer-assisted design systems (CAD)
- Draw rough and detailed scale plans for building utilities, civil construction, structures, and other installations based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data using computer-assisted design systems (CAD)
- Complement, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical using computer-assisted design systems (CAD). Check the dimensions of materials to be used for the company's projects
- Employ data from filed surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to revise construction drawings. Explain drawings to the production team and provide adjustments as necessary to computer-assisted design systems (CAD)
- Determine the quantity of required materials and enter figures on the materials list.
- Locate and identify symbols on topographical surveys to denote geophysical formations.
- Calculate excavation tonnage and prepare graphs and fill-hauling diagrams for earth-moving operations using computer-assisted designing systems (CAD)
- Reproduce drawings on copy machines. Represent engineer in online meetings under supervision
- Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data to ensure they conform to design concepts.
