General Information

This is highly skilled work in specialized maintenance with carpentry, electrical, electronics,

painting, plumbing, HVAC, and welding (gas & electric) in Detention Buildings.

Jurisdiction Starting Salary

Mobile County $60,060

Requirements

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Graduation from a standard senior high school or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in carpentry, electrical, electronics, painting, plumbing, HVAC, or welding (gas & electric) including 2 years of supervisory experience in trades; experience in detention facility maintenance preferred or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
