Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and estimators in delivering large commercial construction projects on time and within budget. You will utilize project management software and work closely with Sr Project Managers to ensure adherence to project schedules. Additionally, you will coordinate with subvendors to maintain budget compliance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and estimators to deliver commercial construction projects.
- Utilize project management software to monitor project progress.
- Work closely with Senior Project Managers to ensure project schedules are followed.
- Coordinate with subvendors to complete projects within budget.
- Manage bidding processes, change orders, and requests for information (RFIs).
- Oversee document control and construction documentation.
- Manage projects from ground-up, ranging from $10 million to $50 million.
- Ensure successful completion of projects, typically lasting around 12 months.
Essential Skills
- Experience in construction, bidding, and project management.
- Proficiency in change order management and requests for information (RFIs).
- Strong project engineering skills, particularly in commercial construction.
- Ability to manage construction documents and perform self-construction.
- Experience in managing projects valued between $10 million and $50 million.
- Understanding of ground-up construction and aviation projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Management.
- 5+ years of experience in construction management.
Work Environment
The position is with a mid-sized General Contractor located in the western suburbs of Milwaukee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $57.69/hr.
