Right now, we're looking for a dedicated Fabrication Supervisor at our Caldwell, Idaho facility, you will lead and support a team of production operators in the fabrication and manufacturing of high-quality fiberglass bathing products. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations across assigned shifts or areas, ensuring employees follow correct procedures and utilize appropriate materials to achieve optimal efficiency. Your leadership will be key to maintaining safety, meeting production goals, and upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities & Duties
Leads and supervises work for all production employees in assigned area(s).
Work to ensure team generates product correctly, as defect free as possible, and in time to ship per customer commitments.
Establishes objectives, measures performance/ prepares performance evaluations, handles termination and corrective action with staff as needed.
Ensures company policy and procedure compliance within assigned area.
Assists Human Resource with recruiting for department to avoid discriminatory hiring and promotion practices; and handles employee issues.
Verifies employee timecards for accuracy.
Clarifies employee responsibilities.
Identifies career paths and lines of progression.
Control all aspects of waste, time, materials, and production supplies.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
Must be detail oriented
General knowledge of tools required for use in assigned area
Requires some Lean manufacturing knowledge and training
Must have proficient experience working with computers to include the Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum of 3 years Fiberglass experience 2-3 as a lead and 1-year supervisory experience preferable in a MFG environment; or any equivalent combination of production experience, education, college coursework which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job.
Must have excellent and proficient communication skills and be able to articulate complex concepts and details with management and employees.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and limited direction.
Must display an attitude of cooperation and the ability to work well with others.
Must have empathetic listening skills.
Must have proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Must have good attendance and be open minded.
Position requires standing, bending, pushing, and pulling for 8 or more hours per day.
Direct/supervise employees, work in fast paced environment with constant change and be open minded.
Adapt well to change.
Fix problems and act fast to eliminate down time in crisis situations.
Provide input and recommendation regarding employee relations, discipline, recruiting, and annual review processes.
Coordinate workload and maintain focus.
Must be flexible with hours which may include weekends and holidays.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships all internal customers including but not limited to sales, coworkers, and supervisors
Work effectively with frequent interruptions in a team environment as a team player.
Resolve initial employee's issues and partners with Production Manager and Human Resources as needed.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Work is performed in an office and production environment with moderate noise level. The employee in this class is frequently subject to inside and production floor environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Position requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, which permits the employee to function in a general office environment to accomplish tasks:
In some cases, it may require sitting at a desk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Constantly requires clarity of speech and hearing, which enables the employee to communicate effectively.
Constantly requires clear vision to read printed materials and computer screen and paperwork to accomplish work.
Constantly requires repetitive movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
