We are looking for a driven individual to start part time with the potential for future full time employment. As a 1099 contractor, you will start at $25/hour with possible pay increase with proven skills.
Role and responsibilities
Ideal candidate will provide high quality carpentry, tile, drywall, painting, wall hanging, furniture assembly and installation work. Candidate must possess and use excellent customer communication and service skills. Strong English language skills - spoken and written - are necessary.
Pay and scope of hours
Hired person will be a 1099 contractor. This business is expanding and expects hired 1099 contractor to be available Monday-Friday, 7a-6p (on site from approximately 8a-5p) for scheduled jobs. No on-call or weekend work required. Company will provide transportation to job sites in company vehicle to complete the days scheduled tasks.

Beldan Home Services will provide:
Appropriate PPE: gloves, eye & ear protection, masks/respirator, shoe covers. Contractors are welcome to provide their own PPE as well.
Transportation to and from the job sites in a company vehicle.

On site job training where necessary.
Necessary tools and materials to complete contracted jobs.
Shirt with embossed company logo.
Contractor Expectations
All contractors will:
Assess repair needs and quickly determine proper solutions.
Provide excellent and timely communication with business owner and customers.
Have a willingness to learn and enhance their skills.
Have the ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50lbs.
Be regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Be comfortable working on ladders and occasional small spaces.
Have full use of hands, arms, and fingers for proper tool and equipment handling.
Be capable of properly operating a variety of power tools.
Be exposed to loud noises, outdoor temperatures, dust, and household building materials.
Provide high quality work and finishes.
Meet current building codes in their work.
Arrive on time for all jobs for which they are contracted.
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
Have a presentable outward appearance and good personal hygiene.
Never smoke, consume/use alcohol, marijuana, or illicit substances prior to or during the days contracted jobs or in company vehicles.
Complete a W-9 and pass a background check prior to being hired.
Be a legal working resident of the United States.
Have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
