En tant que contremaitre d'atelier chez United Rentals, vous aiderez a diriger une entreprise dentretien. Vous vous assurerez que les techniciens de service, l'equipement et les materiaux sont utilises correctement pour maximiser la productivite. Vous ameliorerez continuellement l'efficacite et la satisfaction de la clientele en vous assurant que l'equipement est bien entretenu et repare. Vous travaillerez en etroite collaboration avec le directeur de service/succursale et aiderez a etablir une succursale rentable grace a votre direction, a vos connaissances en matiere de service et d'entretien. Ce poste a la fois complexe et gratifiant vous ouvrira la voie vers de nouveaux debouches dans le role de directeur de service.

Responsabilites complementaires (liste non exhaustive) :
Coordonner les activites des techniciens de service
Former et superviser le personnel mecanique lorsque necessaire
Responsable de l'entretien et de la reparation en toute securite d'une variete d'equipements de location complexes
Diagnostiquer et superviser la reparation des equipements pour s'assurer que le travail est effectue efficacement
Remplir les formulaires/documents electroniques des travaux effectues (bordereau de commande) de maniere complete et en temps opportun sur une base quotidienne
Au besoin, se rendre sur les chantiers des clients pour la reparation/l'entretien de l'equipement appartenant au client; doit maintenir le vehicule de service de maniere propre et professionnelle

Exigences du poste :
Diplome d'etudes secondaires requis; diplome d'ecole de commerce est un atout
Permis de conduire en cours de validite et dossier de conduite acceptable
Plus de 5 ans et plus d'experience dans la reparation/l'entretien d'equipements et d'outils
Aptitude mecanique avancee et connaissance pratique des outils
Doit posseder des outils utilises dans le cadre de cet emploi
Connaissances approfondies de lequipement de construction et comprehension avancee des schemas et des diagrammes
Solides competences en diagnostic et en reparation pour une variete de systemes
Sens du service a la clientele et du travail dequipe, competences en communication verbale et ecrite

As a Shop Foreman Customer Equipment Solutions (CES), youll assist in leading a maintenance enterprise. Youll ensure Service Technicians - CES, equipment and materials are utilized properly to maximize productivity. Youll continually improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, by ensuring customer equipment is properly maintained and repaired. You will work closely with the Service/Branch Manager, and help build a profitable location with your leadership, service and maintenance knowledge. Excellence in this challenging and rewarding position paves the way for advancement into the role of Service Manager.
What you'll do:
Coordinate the activities of Service Technicians - CES
Train and supervise mechanical personnel when necessary
Responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex customer equipment
Diagnose and supervise the repair of equipment to ensure work is performed efficiently
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma required; trade-School Degree a plus
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
Must own tools applicable to position
Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
Strong diagnostic and repair skills for a variety of systems
Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals policies and procedures.
