Job Description As a Service Electrician, you will routinely inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code. You will identify hazards or issues, determine the reasons for any malfunctions, and create maintenance or repair plans to solve problems. Additionally, you will repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment, and other components to ensure they remain at full functioning capacity. You will troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve them, as well as measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit. You will operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform installations or service to the equipment and/or mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure functionality and compliance with codes.
- Identify hazards or issues within electrical systems and components.
- Determine reasons for system malfunctions and create maintenance or repair plans.
- Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and equipment to maintain full functioning capacity.
- Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations for resolutions.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment for installations or servicing.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of service, conduit, and construction.
- Ability to inspect electrical equipment and components.
- Intermediate knowledge of low and high voltage systems.
- Understanding of 3 Phase Power.
- Ability to work on transformers and motors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in commercial electrical work.
- Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
- Valid drivers license in good standing.
- Industrial and/or commercial experience.
