leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in building enclosure and building envelope consulting for both new and existing structures. The successful candidate will lead projects of varying sizes, contribute technical expertise, and play a key role in business development. Responsibilities include managing projects, supporting senior staff, building client relationships, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Travel outside the local area may be required up to 25% , depending on project needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide new design consulting and peer reviews of building enclosure plans and specifications Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and submittals related to building enclosures Conduct and oversee field performance testing, including water leakage testing Perform construction administration services, such as shop drawing reviews and site visits Lead forensic investigations and documentation of existing building enclosure systems Assist with remediation design for building enclosure issues Collaborate on major design, inspection, and investigative projects Prepare clear and professional technical reports Create sketches and markup details using Bluebeam or hand-drawn techniques Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Engineering and 3+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting or construction OR 5+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting or construction in lieu of a degree Strong technical understanding of building enclosure systems and construction methods Experience managing small to large-scale projects Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications Capable of performing both office-based and physical fieldwork tasks Comfortable working at heights using ladders, boom lifts, scaffolds, swing stages, and roofs Ability to work independently and within a team to meet project deadlines Strong technical writing and communication skills Professional and consistent client interaction and project coordination Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report Willingness to travel up to 25% outside the local area based on project demands Preferred Qualifications: Professional registration (or ability to obtain within one year) Field experience with various building types Experience investigating wall systems for leaks and performance issues Familiarity with ASTM testing for air and water infiltration Safety training or scaffold certification Proficiency in Bluebeam
