Overview

Gallagher has a robust sports and entertainment portfolio, spanning all major men’s professional sports leagues, several women’s professional sports leagues, numerous iconic entertainment organizations and renowned charitable organizations. The Coordinator, Community & Content will directly support the coordination and execution of partnership marketing content and community efforts, such as building and maintaining an editorial content calendar, coordinating volunteer efforts for partnership community events, collaborating across multiple internal and external teams, and more.

To be successful in this role, a candidate should be highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative, and must be able to effectively communicate with external and internal audiences with knowledge of Gallagher's general marketing and partnership marketing goals and strategy.

Position Detail:

  • Pay: Starting at $60K/yr depending on experience
  • Location: 2850 West Gold Road, Rolling Meadows IL
  • Schedule: Hybrid M-F 8am - 5pm CST

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities

  • Captures deadlines and specifications for partnership content and community needs and ensures team’s adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintains central view of current and upcoming projects across both partnership content and community events
  • Manage internal and external communication for community events including coordination, invites, recaps, and post-event surveys
  • Manages internal workflow of projects to ensure flawless execution and timely delivery of content assets and community events
  • Works with the Partnership Marketing leadership on project prioritization.
  • Keeps Partnership Leadership apprised of project statues as requested, escalating needs or issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing community events and activities across partners
  • Coordinate logistics, schedules, and resources for community events and content capture and ensure all activities run smoothly

About You

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years experience in a supportive marketing role.

Preferred Requirements

  • Background in sports administration and/or a supporting capacity in sports marketing.
  • Working knowledge of marketing and partnership principles.
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills are required.
  • Ability to write and edit copy to support social media posts
  • Familiarity with project management tools are preferred.
  • Some travel may be required to support community events and/or content production.
