Electrical Engineer

An Electrical Engineer is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Atlantic City, NJ area. This Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and analyzing low voltage power systems, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and federal regulations.

responsibilities:

• Design low voltage power distribution systems.
  
  
• Create single line and wiring diagrams under supervision.
  
  
• Coordinate designs with multiple engineering disciplines.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with company and FAA design policies.
  
  
• Develop construction and procurement drawings/specifications using CAD/CAE tools.
  
  
• Prepare standard engineering calculations, estimates, and design documents.
  
  
• Create detailed equipment/material requisitions for low voltage systems.
  
  
• Size conduits, conductors, and protection devices per NEC.
  
  
• Review supplier drawings and perform technical bid evaluations.
  
  
• Draft specifications, data sheets, and construction documentation.

Skills:

• Expertise in low voltage systems, UPS, lighting, grounding, and power quality analysis.
  
  
• Familiarity with NEC,
  
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school (or ABET-equivalent).
  
  
• 8+ years of relevant electrical design experience.
