Civil Engineer Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager with 5-8 years experience in private land development in our Boise, Idaho office. We are a small growing firm, and our Project Managers will take on all aspects of projects: design, planning, and execution of various civil engineering projects in the commercial, industrial, and residential markets. Candidate will manage multiple projects and will work with other engineering staff to complete the design for each project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Candidates should have a working knowledge of grading, earthwork, demolition, water quality, hydrology/hydraulic reports, storm drain, street, water and sewer design.
• Prepare preliminary and final engineering construction documents for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• Identify design criteria plus plan and execute effective designs.
• Spearhead plan processing at public agencies.
• Implement innovative design and plan preparation focused on exceeding client expectations.
• Ability to manage several engineers as part of a project team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A BS degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university
• Minimum of 3-5 years as an entry-level engineer and 1-3 years as a Project Manager in the Land Development Field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with CAD software
• Valid Driver's License with Insurable Record
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• PE required.
