What Youll Do

  • Responsible for securing new opportunities, managing mid-to-large-scale projects, and representing Fisher Associates through professional societies, local business boards, and community service.
  • Successfully lead project execution and delivery from initial setup through planning, safety analysis, and project kick-off.
  • Maintain up-to-date project budgets/metrics in company software while monitoring scope, schedule, and staffing to ensure adherence to project plans.
  • Lead strategy and design development to meet client objectives while maintaining regular status communication with managers and clients.
  • Oversee project billing, client updates, QA/QC of deliverables, and project closeout.
  • Independently prepare compliant project proposals and serve as Proposal Manager and primary client contact throughout the proposal process.
  • Successfully navigate and implement complex public processes and municipal approvals.
  • Maintain active knowledge of the marketplace to identify key project opportunities and proactively engage potential clients to promote Fisher Associates services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively meet project needs.
  • Provide clear direction, motivation, and mentorship to team members.
  • Maintain knowledge of design software for effective team collaboration.

Salary Range $120,000-$150,000

Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any specific employee. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.

Requirements

What You Bring, Your Expertise

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a Masters preferred.
  • Over 10 years of engineering and project management experience, preferably with Energy sector renewable and utility projects.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain it.
  • Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and MS Office programs preferred.
  • Proven client relationship and business development experience.
