Scotiabanks Global Technology and Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) Technology Planning & Coordination (TPC) is a centralized project coordination team that aids in technology deliverables for workplace transformations, relocations, net new builds, and office closures across the bank.

Via the use of various project management methodologies and tools, you will lead a variety of projects across business lines and technologies. You will also work in a culturally diverse environment, while providing our Technology and Business partners with best-in-class project management expertise.

You are responsible for the management of technology deliverables within a Real Estate project and/or Workplace Transformation. Youll also have accountability for ensuring that the business needs and outcomes of the project are met as per business case requirements.

Is this role right for you?
You will manage and ensure the successful delivery of complex projects involving multiple teams from different groups across the bank and external vendors when required.
You will be the single point of contact for all technology components throughout the entire project life cycle, while developing and maintaining high functioning project teams.
You can strategically influence project stakeholders on technical standards and designs that optimize business performance and productivity.
You champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
You will independently run project meetings and working sessions to prioritize requirements, issues, and deliverables with project stakeholders of diverse authority levels and various technical support leads.
You will prepare technology budgets, schedules, manage support teams and external IT vendors for renovations, expansions, relocations, new locations, and special moves.
You are committed to building strong working relationships to manage the development and progress of all projects by creating, negotiating, and monitoring performance schedules dependencies and resources.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
You have strong communication (verbal/written/presentation).
You can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build relationships & apply influence multiple stakeholders, and external business partners/vendors.
You have at least 5+ years of hands-on working experience as a Project Manager on medium to large complex, multi-stream, projects, that have significant IT and operational components.
You can demonstrate an excellent track record managing projects of varying complexities, risks, and budgets.
You possess knowledge in the use of project management tools necessary in the success of this role (e.g., Broadcoms Clarity PPM [formerly CA PPM], MS Project / Visio / PowerPoint / Excel & Adobe PDF).
You can demonstrate a passion for delivering superior levels of customer service and experience.
You have completed a post-secondary education.
An asset to be working towards the completion or having, in good standing, a completed Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional ScrumMaster (PSM).
