Our client, a leader in the mechanical engineering industry, is seeking a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer

Location: Mason, OH

Pay Range: $38.09 - $40.75 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Assist engineering teams in preparing mechanical layouts and equipment distribution.
  • Perform equipment selection and define bill of materials and product model configurations.
  • Conduct on-site commissioning to ensure equipment distribution and process flow.
  • Prepare mechanical engineering drawings using CAD systems and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Interact with internal and external customers during project reviews and support their requests.

What's Needed?

  • 8+ years of industrial experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD systems for 2D/3D modeling.
  • Experience managing project elements including scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers from different disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies during project execution.
