US - Sr Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects across various industries. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Mason, OH

Pay Range: $37.32 - $39.94 per hour

What's the Job?

• Prepare mechanical engineering drawings in collaboration with engineering specialists using CAD systems.
• Deliver in-house assignments as per the agreed timeline and set quality standards for 2D/3D CAD work.
• Support continuous improvement of project processes and product/system design through lessons learned feedback.
• Conduct risk and opportunity assessments during the site commissioning phase.
• Interact with internal and external customers on scheduled project reviews and support them on requests.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of industrial experience in mechanical design or related fields.
• Proficiency in CAD software for preparing accurate drawings and 3D modeling.
• Experience in managing multiple project elements, including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers from different disciplines.
• Strong communication skills to foster an inclusive team culture.
