We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to handle various maintenance and repair tasks across residential and commercial properties. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify issues that require attention.
Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
Collaborate with other tradespeople when necessary to complete larger projects.
Document completed work and report any additional issues or recommendations for repairs.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong understanding of various maintenance tasks.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks as required.
