Summary
This position will be responsible for supporting the ongoing development of our Client Portal. This position will play a key part in analyzing acceptance criteria, writing test cases, and testing new functionality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
- Design, write, and execute test cases for functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
- Validate fixes and perform regression testing.
- Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, representing the voice of testing and quality.
- Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 3+ years of experience working in quality assurance.
- 1+ year of experience working in an IT department within a construction management company.
- Understanding of QA methodologies.
- Experience writing and executing test cases.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with API testing tools.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with automated testing tools
- Familiarity with GitHub
- Familiarity and understanding of Power Apps
- Familiarity with building Forms and Applications with Jotform
