What Youll Do

As a Mechanical Engineer, youll be at the forefront of innovation, working with a team of talented professionals to solve complex problems. Youll leverage your strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to design and optimize mechanical devices, machines, and systems. You will take on exciting challenges, from conducting research and analyzing data to creating detailed technical drawings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You will oversee manufacturing and installation processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will enable you to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, making a tangible impact on the success of our projects.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design or modify basic mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications under direct supervision

• Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects; identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve basic technical issues

• Perform and document engineering test reports; generate alpha/gamma documentation for product releases

• Perform engineering analysis; troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of general difficulty under direct supervision

• Apply engineering processes to resolve basic mechanical problems

• Help to design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing and associated processes

• Enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related majors from an accredited university or college and available to start Summer 2025
• Demonstrated experience in collaborative environments, whether through academic projects or professional roles, with an understanding of team dynamics.
• Familiarity with the basic theories and concepts of mechanical engineering such as: Thermal/Fluid/Solid Mechanics, 3D CAD Design/2D Drawing/GD&T, Parts Fabrication/Assembly/Testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated practical experience and involvement in mechanical engineering project activities, showcasing practical application of engineering concepts and problem-solving skills, whether through academic projects or professional endeavors

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
