Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager to lead and mentor field crews in the construction and servicing of fuel system infrastructure, including tanks, piping, dispensers, and canopies. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget while adhering to environmental and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Mentor and manage field crews in construction and servicing of fuel system infrastructure.
- Deliver multiple projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct job site visits for safety audits, quality control, scheduling, and client communication.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients and subcontractors throughout project execution.
- Coordinate logistics, including equipment, materials, permits, subcontractors, and inspections.
- Support preconstruction planning, bid development, and cost management.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire codes, hazardous material handling, and industry-specific standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align project timelines and client expectations.
- Identify training needs and support team members in obtaining necessary certifications.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment for safe and efficient operations.
- Monitor field productivity and project margins, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- 5+ years of construction management experience in the industry.
- Knowledge of environmental safety regulations (EPA, NFPA, PEI Standards).
- OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, or similar safety certifications.
- Experience with fuel system construction at gas stations, fleet facilities, or industrial sites.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or equivalent experience.
- 35 years of supervisory experience in construction, preferably in fuel systems or related fields.
- Proven experience with UST/AST installations, piping, and dispenser systems.
- Strong leadership, scheduling, and team-building skills.
- Ability to interpret site drawings, permits, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
