Equipment Operator Civil Construction
Seeking talented Equipment Operators for Civil/Utility work at Ryatt Construction.
The Position: Under general supervision, operates equipment, performs routine maintenance, cleans and maintains equipment. Essential Functions: Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment. Experience with digging/working around existing utilities. Utilities experience is a HUGE plus. Proficient in the following types of equipment: Excavator, dozer, backhoe, bobcat forklift trencher, roller loader.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Must have at least 3-5 years recent experience in Construction as an equipment operator, working around utilities, trenching, pipe laying, and sewer, water, storm and infrastructure placement.
Ability to understand and follow specific oral instructions.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions.
Maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
Operate motor vehicles.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
Must have 2 valid forms of ID (drivers license, social security card, birth certificate, passport),
Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background test.
Must have at least 2 verifiable references.
