You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN in the FLEET READINESS CENTER MID ATLANTIC FRCMA VRT DEPT MYPT PROD BR of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER.

  • Operating different test rigs and equipment to meet the requirements of ALRE and Visual Landing Aid system and components being developed by engineering personnel, amongst other various systems.
  • Conducting static, integrity and functional checks to ensure proper operation of experimental test rigs and equipment utilizing various sources such as electrical, high-pressure air and hydraulics.
  • Planning and coordinating work processes including the sequence of operations to meet job requirements.
  • Performing hydrostatic and operation cycle test of experimental modified components for various electrical shipboard and shop used systems (i.e. ALRE system)
  • Inspecting, installing, maintaining, repairing and overhauling a variety of electrical system and components.
  • Preparing sketches and serving on engineering integrated product teams engaged in the design prototyping and manufacturing of replacement parts.
