The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the completion of facilities projects, improvements, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and other activity to support and ensure uninterrupted production processes to meet customer manufacturing demand. This includes leading a team of internal maintenance technicians and outside contractors to ensure the timely and effective management of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, related systems, and production machinery issues in the plant.
- Guide and work alongside maintenance technicians to troubleshoot diverse facility and production equipment systems, plan repairs/modifications and ensure completion.
- Manage facility PM schedules, contractors, and performance
- Oversee various multifunctional facility projects, small and large
- Ensure the management of critical spares and part inventory
- Develop team members to increase skills and proficiency with in-depth technical issues to decrease the reliance on outside service providers
- Identify and coordinate with contractors and manage proposals for outside support
- Manage maintenance request systems, record retention, and warranty issues
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of combined experience of commercial construction, facilities maintenance, facilities project management, and production equipment maintenance repair
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Experience and understanding of installation, sustainment, and troubleshooting of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration systems, fire protection systems, and plant-specific manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency with MS Office, HTML databases, email and other common software as necessary
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Technical associates degree in an applicable field
- Working knowledge of OSHA, NEC, NFPA codes
- Ability to use AutoCAD to view 2D facility drawings and make minor changes
