Description
A Project Land Surveyor/Manager is sought to join a collaborative team in Orlando, FL. This individual will play a key role in delivering services that blend technical knowledge, practical experience, and professional judgment to resolve surveying, mapping, and geospatial challenges. The role includes assisting in leading the Survey team with a shared passion for merging the art and science of mapping.

Assist leadership with planning, implementation, and production of deliverables for land surveying projectsOversee and manage staff for specific project assignments; supervise field workCoordinate and prepare field work scope, survey data, data reduction, project plans, revisions, and final deliverablesWrite and review CAD file production, draft survey maps, proposals, descriptions, and reportsAssist in scheduling, task development, and budgeting; prepare progress reports and draft change ordersManage multiple projects and tasks within budgets, schedules, and deadlines; assist with billing and collectionsUse reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and aerial photos to assess project needsSupport office tasks including CAD drafting, data download, deed/map research, and filingCollect field data using surveying equipment and software as neededAssist in recovery of survey control and monumentation, construction layout, utility data collection, and photo documentationPerform other duties as assignedHigh school diploma or equivalent required5+ years of field and office survey experienceProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson softwareState Survey license or ability to obtain oneExperience with proposal preparation and job estimatesAbility to perform complex boundary analysis and maintain quality controlProven ability to manage staff and meet deadlinesStrong teamwork, communication, and analytical skillsWillingness to travel to field sites as needed
