Summary: Seeking Electrical Project Engineers with a strong background in industrial motor control systems to handle project management, field data collection, 3D/2D modeling, and oversee installation supervision for crane manufacturing projects.
Requirements:
BS in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering discipline
Familiarity with industrial motor control electrical systems (VFDs, PLCs)
Detailed knowledge of NEC
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams
Experience in industrial construction and project management
Strong supervisory skills for subcontractor qualification and oversight
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience with overhead and gantry cranes is advantageous
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate project viability against specific criteria, ensuring contract compliance and internal standards
Perform site evaluations and inspections
Develop preliminary designs to aid sales efforts
Contribute to the engineering design process, including submittal reviews
Oversee field management of projects, directing contractors to meet specifications, budgets, and schedules
Provide comprehensive project management across all phases
Manage quality control, financial aspects, and safety protocols for the project
Prepare project documentation such as O&M manuals and as-built drawings
Utilize electrical troubleshooting equipment effectively
Produce wiring drawings, conduit layouts, and wire pull schedules using AutoCAD software
Travel as required for projects and respond to emergency calls
