Summary: Seeking an experienced Catia Design Engineer to support prototype aircraft assembly and design for Defense and Special Missions.
Requirements:
Proficiency in CATIA V6 Model Management/Interference Checks
Experience in airframe design as well as avionics and electrical mechanical provisioning/installations
Ability to develop, plan, organize, and conduct complex design assignments on aircraft
Capability to support new product designs and sustain existing designs
Proficient in Catia 3D Modeling for detail, assembly, and installation layouts
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with experimental engineering coordination for design interpretation
Experience with prototypes of systems components for testing and running laboratory simulations
Skilled in creating design reviews, test procedures, and coordinating testing
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with technical disciplines such as Manufacturing, Tooling, Structural Integrity, Aerosciences, and Utility Systems
Support prototype aircraft assembly by addressing manufacturability issues
Conduct research, calculations, estimates, and drafting of projects in line with specifications
Create presentations to present test results, design issues or trade study recommendations
Additional Information:
ITAR Work Regulations compliance required
Position accepts US Citizens or those authorized to work in the US (Green Card, OPT/EAD/F1, H1B, TN Visa)
Full-time position with a standard work week of four 10-hour days from Monday through Thursday
