Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in sulfur recovery units within the oil & gas industry to design and inspect equipment while ensuring compliance with ASME code requirements.
Requirements:
BSME degree
5+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, specifically with sulfur recovery units
US Citizen or Green Card holder
Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, NBIC, and NACE standards
Stable work history
Responsibilities:
Design vessels and other equipment considering instrumentation, relief devices, piping, valves, foundation, structural steel impacts
Perform calculations for shop-built vessels per ASME code requirements using CEI Design Program
Conduct vendor and field inspections for mechanical and design conformance
Witness hydro or other testing performed on equipment
Monitor and verify ordered equipment meets specifications and assist QC department
