Seeking a qualified individual with active licensure in electrical trades or a degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management to fill the role of Project Manager, overseeing construction projects from start to finish. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
"Active" State Licensed Journeyman Electrician, Master Electrician, or a degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management.
Class B Commercial Drivers License within 6 months of acceptance.
Minimum of MSHA Surface Electrical Certification within 1 year of acceptance.
Ability to operate a Windows-based computer operating system and Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
Ability to read and interpret project blueprints and other building documents.
Preferred Skills: Experience as a Journeyman Electrician and supervisory responsibility.
Familiarity with changes in equipment and products in the electrical industry.
Fluency in Spanish.
Proficiency in utilizing construction management software such as Procore.
Job Responsibilities: Directing the activities of all job site personnel.
Overseeing the construction project from start to finish.
Participating in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Preparing customer bids using ConEst software.
Coordinating material and manpower needs.
Resolving customer/contractor complaints.
Maintaining work schedule and ensuring activities adhere to predetermined schedule.
Reviewing and maintaining daily logs in Procore.
Completing all change orders and project invoicing as per contract requirements.
Making hiring/firing recommendations to the Branch Manager or COO.
Assisting with field personnel duties as necessary.
Working Conditions: Work may be performed in non-climate controlled areas with extremes of heat, humidity, and cold.
Exposure to moving machines, hazardous conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and high places.
Required to go on service calls to customers' premises, conditions of which are not within the company's control.
