Seeking Water Resources Engineers experienced in stormwater management, drainage, and erosion control for innovative green infrastructure and community redevelopment projects in the Baltimore City area. Requirements: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) License and Certification (PE not required)
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Biological Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or Environmental Engineering; Master's degree is a plus
Profound knowledge of stormwater hydrology, hydraulics, and Best Management Practices (BMP) design
Experience preparing construction documents and plan sets using AutoCAD or Microstation software
Understanding of water flow rates
3+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills: Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for storm flows
Familiarity with urban redevelopment, green and complete street projects, and environmental restoration
Knowledge of local Maryland jurisdictional standards, especially those of Baltimore City
Expertise in storm drain inlets, storm drain pipes, and gutter flow computations
Responsibilities: Contribute to the design of green infrastructure projects, focusing on stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and site design plans
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater management calculations
Compute hydrologic and hydraulic aspects related to storm drain inlets, pipes, and gutter flow
